Subject: Domino 8.5.2 64b memory leak?
Feedback Type: Problem
Product Area: Domino Server
Technical Area: Install
Platform: Windows
Release: 8.5.2
Reproducible: Always

We upgraded one of our Domino Servers from 8.5.1 FP1 to 8.5.2 (both 64bits).

Server => Virtual Server on VMWare ESX 4.0
Guest machine =>Quadcore+ 4GB RAM + Windows2008 R2

On the very beginning we saw that the dominos processes (nserver, nupdate, nhttp, nadminp, nrouter,...) began to take memory and after some days, the server showed a 90% of memory utilization and it remained constantly with such a big memory utilization.
The strange thing is that apparently everything is working correctly, so the users are not complaining about slow response time or other problems.
After talking to IBM we tunned it with some parameters and now the standard memory utilization is about 70%.
Before we go further updating the rest of the domino servers I woud like to be sure if this is normal.
Does anybody knows if this high memory utlization is normal?

Thanks in advance,

Ricard Malvesi
